COMMERCIAL & GRAPHIC WORK

I gravitate toward projects that feel personal, intentional, and outside the overly commercialized aesthetic. My commercial work focuses on crafting unique visual identities, editorial layouts, and art direction that break away from the expected while still being strategically sound.

For businesses that want to stand out—not just fit in—I offer a collaborative approach that prioritizes fresh perspectives, a refined aesthetic, and a meaningful connection to your audience.

ARTIST STATMENT

My work explores perception—how meaning is created, where it is projected, and how it is shaped by our emotions. I am interested in the slippages between language, memory, identity, and belonging, questioning who constructs meaning, how it is received, and what is ultimately distorted. Using print design, typography, and fine art, I engage with the instability of language and cultural narratives, examining how they shift across time, space, and digital and physical contexts.

I have moved between languages, industries, and cultural spaces which have heightened my awareness of how identity is shaped through external perception—how meaning is projected onto an individual, a place, or an image.  My work often returns to the question of who gets to define meaning and what happens when communication falters or shifts (which it does more often than not).I’m fascinated by the hybrid language of the internet—memes as contemporary folklore, compressing humor, nostalgia, and collective emotion into a singular image. Using the precision of “mematic” communication, I aim to convey the "in-between"—where meaning is unstable, where translation fails, and where identity is fluid. These topics inform my exploration of how language and perception interact, both personally and collectively.
