ARTIST STATMENT
My work grapples with the inherent doubt and uncertainty of being. The subjects I pursue are constantly in a state of flux, mirroring the distortion we experience in consciousness. I question why we strive to represent things as they "are" when such representations are never truly accurate. The duality of knowing that I exist while simultaneously not fully understanding the nature of that existence informs my exploration of identity. Through distortion, I aim to capture the complex, fluctuating reality of being, where certainty is always elusive.
